Message and that is why NOS is hard on the engine. With turbocharging you are simply making it burn more air, with NOS you are making it burn purified oxygen. Not to mention, at 2200 degrees, aluminum will oxidize rapidly in an oxygen-rich environment. The piston simply "rusts" if shot too much with NOS, or run lean.

: pressure to produce 400-500HP, a simple 60 shot of NOS in a NA should not be of any concern right? even with a 100 shot, a stock NA would be pumping out not much more than a stock TT. are the internal pressure from turbos comparable to the internal stress caused by NOS? is a TT engine made that much differently to hold up excess stress from the turbo's? if not, then i wouldn't see why a 60 shot or even a 100 shot would harm the NA engine. maybe i'm missing something over here...am i correct?
